If you are a new resident please make sure to come and have your picture taken for the resident directory. This is our last scheduled photo shoot for the directory.  Also, if you aren’t happy with your current picture now is the time to have a retake. John Stetz will be taking the pictures in the lobby. Don’t miss this opportunity. 

Thursday, November 20th Pure Life Pharmacy Presentation 11:00

Pure Life Pharmacy is a direct pay pharmacy. Jeffery Hoover will explain how the pharmacy works, how it can benefit you and lower your prescription costs. Friday, November 22nd  Recipe Sharing Dinner Club 5:00

The theme for November is “Soup”. Be sure to sign up so we have an accurate count for table set up. Please bring at least 6 copies of your recipe and include your name on your recipe.  We will vote for November’s theme so bring your ideas with you. Please bring a serving utensil for your dish and your beverage of choice.

Sunday, November 24th starts the Horse and Carriage Rides at the Wharf 5-8p.m.

Holiday traditions start with the smallest joys and tis the season to be jolly! Mosey on over to The Wharf and spend an evening under the moon in an enchanted horse-drawn carriage. Trot along through the streets and gaze at the lights and decorations with your loved ones. You’ll want to have your camera ready for this ride, it will be a selfie worthy occasion!

Sunday, December 1st Christmas Celebration at the Baldwin County Heritage Museum

You are cordially invited to a Christmas Celebration at the Baldwin County Heritage Museum on Sunday, December 1 from 4-7pm. Please join us for our Christmas Tree display as we celebrate the many different cultures that helped shape Baldwin County.

During this Celebration, you will be able to enjoy decorations and traditional heritage Christmas time themes from a wide variety of cultures. You will also be a part of a BCHM tradition -the Angel Memory Tree lighting. This tree is filled with tributes in memory or in honor of friends, family, and loved ones. For a donation of $10 each, an Angel will be named and placed on the tree for the one you want to remember or honor.

The St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Handbell Choir will perform immediately following the tree lighting ceremony.

Tuesday, December 3rd The Wharf’s Christmas Tree Lighting 5:30-7:30

It is the perfect ceremony to inspire the Yuletide spirit. Enjoy special festive musical performances, cookie decorating, cups of toasty hot chocolate, and of course the arrival of the big jolly man himself, Santa!

Stay and shimmy along with the Holiday SPECTRA Sound & Light Spectacular to conclude the event.

The Coastal Ballet Academy will present The Nutcracker on Sunday, December 8. Under the direction of Madame Rio Cordy, the ballet academy will bring this classic holiday ballet to life. This event will begin at 2 pm at the Erie H. Meyer Civic Center, located at 1930 W 2nd Street.

The Baldwin Pops is an organization of volunteer musicians whose mission is to share music in a concert band format free of charge to the citizens of Baldwin County.

This event will not require a ticket. Seats are first-come, first-serve. Baldwin Pops Concerts are a collection site for the US Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots program. Patrons are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift.

Saturday, December 14th Lighted Boat Parade 5:30-8:00 p.m.

The Coastal Alabama Chamber of Commerce lighted boat parade takes off at about 5:30pm from LuLu’s at Homeport Marina and finishes at Flora-Bama. More than 45 decorated vessels, including sailboats, charters and even a kayak or two, make this boat parade one of the largest in the Southeast. There are great viewing sites all along the Intracoastal Waterway, but for groups, the best spot is The Wharf at Orange Beach, adjacent to the convention center. Every Saturday at 9:00 am-2pm and Tuesday from 2-6pm Coastal Alabama Farmers & Fisherman’s Market 

This market is filled with local produce, home baked goods, crafters, local honey and local shrimp and a variety of fish and crafters. This is a year-round market. Vendors do change based on the season.
